Upamanyu’s Instruction
शाकल्यश्शंसितात्मा च नववर्षशातान्यपि । भवमाराधयामास मनोयज्ञेन माधव
śākalyaśśaṃsitātmā ca navavarṣaśātānyapi | bhavamārādhayāmāsa manoyajñena mādhava
Si Śākalya, na pinuri at marangal ang diwa, ay sumamba kay Bhava (Panginoong Śiva) kahit sa loob ng siyam na raang taon—si Mādhava’y sumamba sa Kanya sa pamamagitan ng panloob na yajña, ginawang handog ang isipan.
