नन्दिकेशावतारवर्णनम् (Nandikeśa Avatāra Varṇanam) — “Account of the Descent/Origin of Nandikeśvara”
सम्पूर्णे सप्तमे वर्षे मित्रावरुणसंज्ञकौ । मुनी तस्याश्रमं प्राप्तौ द्रष्टुं मां चाज्ञया विभोः
sampūrṇe saptame varṣe mitrāvaruṇasaṃjñakau | munī tasyāśramaṃ prāptau draṣṭuṃ māṃ cājñayā vibhoḥ
Nang ganap na ang ikapitong taon, dumating sa kanyang ashram ang dalawang pantas na kilala bilang Mitra at Varuṇa—sa utos ng Makapangyarihang Panginoon—upang makita ang taong iyon at upang makita rin ako.
