It highlights that a rite done to completion (kriyā-sampatti) culminates in the grace of the righteous, expressed as blessings and dāna—showing that disciplined action and satisfied sāttvika priests support the devotee’s onward spiritual progress.
In Śaiva practice, Linga-worship is not only inner devotion but also proper observance of prescribed rites; when worship is concluded correctly, the devotee receives prasāda and auspicious results through the channel of the brāhmaṇas who officiate in Shiva’s worship.
Complete the pūjā/vrata without omission, then honor brāhmaṇas with dāna and accept the sanctified remainder (prasāda); this reinforces humility, gratitude, and the sāttvika closure of the worship.
