Account of Śiva’s Śārabha Manifestation and the Measureless Avatāras

It highlights that divine grace can immediately cool the heart (inner agitation and fear), yet deep karmic afflictions may subside gradually—teaching perseverance in bhakti and surrender to the Lord’s compassion.
The verse emphasizes Saguna grace—God’s tangible, personal intervention. In Shaiva Siddhanta, such compassion supports the devotee’s purification so they can steadily approach Shiva (Pati) through Linga worship and disciplined devotion.
When inner “burning” persists, continue steady japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya), apply Tripuṇḍra (bhasma) with remembrance of Shiva, and practice calm breath-awareness—seeking cooling of the heart through sustained devotion.
