Account of Śiva’s Śārabha Manifestation and the Measureless Avatāras

It teaches disciplined śravaṇa: sacred history should be heard with focus on its liberating essence, not repeated endlessly for mere detail—pointing the listener toward Shiva-tattva rather than narrative redundancy.
By moving past already-known episodes, the text redirects attention from familiar biography to Shiva’s forms and principles; this supports Saguna devotion (upāsanā) while guiding the devotee toward the deeper understanding of Pati (Shiva) beyond stories.
It implies purposeful śravaṇa and smaraṇa: listen to Shiva-kathā for transformation, then internalize it through mantra-japa (especially the Panchakshara, Om Namaḥ Śivāya) rather than seeking repeated lengthy retellings.
