गजासुरतपः–देवलोकक्षोभः
Gajāsura’s Austerities and the Disturbance of the Worlds
दानवे निहते देव्या समरे महिषासुरे । देवानां च हितार्थाय पुरा देवाः सुखं ययुः
dānave nihate devyā samare mahiṣāsure | devānāṃ ca hitārthāya purā devāḥ sukhaṃ yayuḥ
Nang mapatay ng Diyosa (Devī) sa labanan ang Dānava na si Mahīṣāsura para sa kapakanan ng mga deva, ang mga deva noong unang panahon ay lumisan na may kapayapaan at ligaya.

It highlights the restoration of dharma: when adharma is destroyed by divine śakti, the cosmic order becomes steady and beings aligned with righteousness attain peace.
The verse reflects Saguna divinity acting in history—Śiva’s grace is often shown through Śakti’s protective power; worship of the Liṅga honors the same Supreme (Pati) whose power manifests to remove obstacles to dharma.
A practical takeaway is protective devotion: recite the Pañcākṣarī ("Om Namaḥ Śivāya") with bhakti, and maintain Tripuṇḍra-bhasma as a reminder of surrender and inner steadiness amid conflict.
