शुक्रोत्पत्तिः तथा महेश्वरदर्शनम् (Śukra’s Emergence and the Vision of Maheśvara)
ईश्वर उवाच । भो भो दैत्येन्द्रतुष्टोऽस्मि दमेन नियमेन च । शौर्येण तव धैर्येण वरं वरय सुव्रत
īśvara uvāca | bho bho daityendratuṣṭo'smi damena niyamena ca | śauryeṇa tava dhairyeṇa varaṃ varaya suvrata
Sinabi ni Īśvara (Panginoong Śiva): “O makapangyarihang panginoon ng mga Daitya! Nalulugod Ako sa iyong pagpipigil-sa-sarili at masusing pagtalima, gayundin sa iyong kagitingan at matatag na tapang. O taong may marangal na panata—pumili ka ng biyaya; humingi ka ng biyaya.”

The implied practice is cultivating yama-niyama-like disciplines—especially dama (sense-control) and niyama (regular vows/observances)—supported by steady devotion to Śiva, such as daily japa of “Om Namaḥ Śivāya” and vrata-based worship done with courage and constancy.
