शुक्रनिग्रहः — The Seizure/Neutralization of Śukra (Kāvya) and the Daityas’ Despondency
ततः कोलाहलो जातः प्रमथासुरसैन्ययोः । तेन शब्देन महता शुक्रश्शंभूदरे स्थ्ग्तिः
tataḥ kolāhalo jātaḥ pramathāsurasainyayoḥ | tena śabdena mahatā śukraśśaṃbhūdare sthgtiḥ
Pagkaraan, sumiklab ang isang napakalakas na kaguluhan sa pagitan ng hukbo ng mga Pramatha at ng mga Asura. Sa tindi ng dagundong na iyon, si Śukra ay napasikil—ang kanyang kapanatagan ay napigil sa saklaw ng kapangyarihan ni Śambhu (Śiva).
