Suta Goswami
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Rudra
Role: destructive
It portrays Śiva (Pati) as the invincible Lord who confronts the binding powers of darkness (symbolized by Andhaka), showing that divine sovereignty and right order ultimately overpower delusion and bondage.
The verse highlights Saguna Śiva—manifest as the supreme commander and protector—encouraging devotees to approach the Linga as the accessible form of the transcendent Lord who defends dharma and grants grace.
Meditate on Śiva as the unconquerable protector while repeating the Panchākṣarī mantra “Om Namaḥ Śivāya,” cultivating steadfastness (dhairya) amid inner conflict and obstacles.
