विशीर्णस्तिग्मांशोस्तुहिनशकलाकारशकलस्तथाभूतः प्राणांस्तदपि न जहौ दैत्य वृषभः । तदा तुष्टश्शंभुः परमकरुणावारिधिरसौ ददौ तस्मै प्रीत्या गणपतिपदं तेन विनुतः
viśīrṇastigmāṃśostuhinaśakalākāraśakalastathābhūtaḥ prāṇāṃstadapi na jahau daitya vṛṣabhaḥ | tadā tuṣṭaśśaṃbhuḥ paramakaruṇāvāridhirasau dadau tasmai prītyā gaṇapatipadaṃ tena vinutaḥ
Bagama’t wasak—gaya ng mga piraso ng nag-aapoy na araw at gaya ng mga tipak na tila yelo—hindi pa rin binitiwan ng daitya na si Vṛṣabha ang hininga ng buhay. Noon, si Śambhu, ang karagatan ng sukdulang habag, ay nalugod at buong pag-ibig na iginawad sa kanya ang katayuang Gaṇapati; at mula noon siya’y nagpuri sa Kanya.

The verse emphasizes Saguna Śiva—Śambhu who responds personally to devotion. In Linga worship, this same compassionate Lord is approached through pūjā and stuti, seeking his grace to uplift the soul beyond bondage.
Practice stuti and japa with steadiness—especially the Pañcākṣarī mantra ("Om Namaḥ Śivāya")—cultivating surrender and perseverance; this aligns the devotee with Śiva’s compassionate bestowal of spiritual dignity and protection.
