The verse highlights the Shaiva Siddhanta mood of surrender: humility (dīnatā), prostration (praṇāma), and devotional praise (stuti) purify the heart and make the devotee receptive to Shiva’s grace.
Though the verse describes approaching a revered presence, its devotional posture—folded hands, bowing, and heartfelt praise—is the same inner discipline used in Saguna Shiva/Linga worship, where reverence and surrender are central.
Practice namaskāra with añjali (folded hands) and offer stuti/prārthanā with bhakti; this can be paired with japa of “Om Namaḥ Śivāya” to cultivate the same humble, surrendered state.
