Suta Goswami
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Mahādeva
The verse highlights classical Shaiva marks—Rudrākṣa and bhasma—signifying devotion to Pati (Śiva) and purity through consecrated practice, presenting an auspicious, attractive sacred form that draws the mind toward worship.
By describing adornment with Rudrākṣa, bhasma, and ornaments, the text emphasizes Saguna upāsanā—approaching Śiva through visible sacred symbols and consecrated forms, which support reverence for the Liṅga and Śiva’s manifest presence.
Wear Rudrākṣa with devotion, apply sacred bhasma (Tripuṇḍra) as a Shaiva mark, and contemplate Śiva’s auspicious form—ideally while remembering the Pañcākṣarī mantra (Om Namaḥ Śivāya).
