भूतत्रिपुरधर्मवर्णनम् (Description of the Dharma/Conduct of the Bhūta-Tripura) — Chapter 3
सनत्कुमार उवाच । अच्युतस्य वचः श्रुत्वा देवदेवस्य धीमतः । प्रेम्णा ते प्रणतिं कृत्वा यज्ञेशं तेऽस्तुवन्सुराः
sanatkumāra uvāca | acyutasya vacaḥ śrutvā devadevasya dhīmataḥ | premṇā te praṇatiṃ kṛtvā yajñeśaṃ te'stuvansurāḥ
Sinabi ni Sanatkumāra: Nang marinig ang mga salita ni Acyuta (Viṣṇu), ang marunong na Panginoon ng mga panginoon, ang mga deva ay yumukod na may pag-ibig at debosyon, at saka pinuri si Yajñeśa, ang Panginoon ng paghahandog (yajña).

The verse highlights bhakti expressed as loving surrender (prema with praṇati). Even the devas respond to divine instruction by bowing and offering stuti, showing that humility and devotion to Devadeva are central means for grace in Shaiva Siddhanta.
By calling the Lord “Devadeva” and “Yajñeśa,” the text points to Saguna Shiva—the accessible, worship-worthy Lord who receives praise and offerings. Linga worship similarly approaches Shiva as the manifest focus of devotion, where stuti and namaskāra become acts of communion with the Supreme.
The immediate practice is praṇāma (prostration) and stotra-pāṭha (praise). In a Shiva Purana worship setting, this aligns with offering reverent salutations before Linga-pūjā and reciting Shiva stotras with a heart of love (prema).
