Vṛndā’s Ominous Dreams and the Prelude to the Breach of Chastity

It highlights the Shaiva principle that adharma and tamasic forces are checked by spiritual potency—here expressed as sacred sound—when a righteous protector (the muni) stands firm in dharma.
The humkāra reflects mantra-śakti, which in Shaiva practice is rooted in devotion to Saguna Shiva and worship of the Linga—where sound, mantra, and reverence become instruments of protection and purification.
Cultivate mantra-discipline—especially japa of the Panchākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”—to build inner steadiness; paired with Tripuṇḍra (bhasma) and Rudrākṣa, it supports fearlessness and spiritual clarity.
