Suta Goswami
Tattva Level: pasha
Shiva Form: Tripurāntaka
Type: stotra
Cosmic Event: Auspicious muhūrta alignment of the three cities (Tripura-saṃyoga) enabling the decisive strike.
The verse highlights kāla (sacred time) and cosmic alignment as instruments of divine order—events unfold when conditions converge, underscoring that Shiva’s will operates through ṛta (the right order) rather than random force.
By stressing an auspicious muhūrta and alignment, it reflects the Saguna approach of the Purana: devotees worship Shiva through time-bound rites (pūjā, vrata, muhūrta) while recognizing that the same Lord ultimately transcends time as Nirguna.
It implies the value of worship at auspicious times—especially midday/Abhijit muhūrta—supporting focused japa of the Panchākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and Linga-pūjā with flowers as a disciplined, time-aligned sādhanā.
