The Question of Whom to Serve (Sevā) for the Removal of Suffering

It teaches that dhyāna itself is a yajña that draws Śiva’s immediate presence, and that true spiritual knowledge (vijñāna) purifies the seeker from within, making mere external expiations secondary.
It supports Saguna worship by stressing Śiva’s nearness to the devoted meditator; whether one meditates on the Liṅga-form or Śiva’s auspicious form, inner absorption is presented as the highest offering that brings direct divine proximity.
Practice steady dhyāna as a daily ‘inner yajña’—ideally with japa of the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and focused contemplation on Śiva—treating inner purity and awareness as the primary purification.
