Concise Teaching on Liṅga Worship / Śiva-arcana-vidhi
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Dakṣiṇāmūrti
Role: teaching
It marks the completion of the formal Śiva-pūjā teaching and invites deeper inquiry—showing that devotion (bhakti) is guided by right method and culminates in further spiritual questions aimed at Śiva’s grace.
By concluding the ‘pūjāvidhi of Śambhu,’ it situates Saguna worship—often performed through the Śiva-liṅga and prescribed offerings—as a structured path for approaching the Supreme Pati who bestows anugraha.
The verse implies continuity after completing puja: maintain śravaṇa (attentive listening to teachings) and proceed to the next disciplines taught in the text—typically mantra-japa (e.g., pañcākṣarī) and steady devotion aligned with the established worship method.
