Sinusunog ako ng dalamhating iyon, wala akong matagpuang kapayapaan saanman. Kaya nararapat kong gawin ang matatag na pagsisikap upang tanggapin Niya ako bilang Kanyang minamahal.
Satī (speaking within Sūta’s narration to the sages)
Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Mahādeva
Shakti Form: Satī
Role: liberating
It highlights single-pointed devotion (bhakti) and disciplined effort (yatna/tapas) as the inner means by which the jīva seeks the Lord’s grace—here expressed as Satī’s longing to be accepted by Śiva.
Satī’s wish to be ‘accepted’ reflects approaching Śiva in a personal, Saguna mode—like worshiping the Linga with love and vow—where devotion and purity of intention mature into divine favor.
The verse implies firm vrata and tapas supported by japa—especially Panchākṣarī ("Om Namaḥ Śivāya")—and steady, humble worship that seeks Śiva’s grace rather than worldly consolation.
