संध्याचरित्रवर्णनम् (Sandhyā-caritra-varṇanam) — “Narration of Sandhyā’s Austerity and Encounter with Śiva”
यस्याऽपरं नो जगदुच्यते पदात् क्षितिर्दिशस्सूर्य इंदुर्मनौजः । बर्हिर्मुखा नाभितश्चान्तरिक्षं तस्मै तुभ्यं शंभवे मे नमोस्तु
yasyā'paraṃ no jagaducyate padāt kṣitirdiśassūrya iṃdurmanaujaḥ | barhirmukhā nābhitaścāntarikṣaṃ tasmai tubhyaṃ śaṃbhave me namostu
Mula sa Iyong mga paa sinasabing sumibol ang buong sansinukob—ang lupa, ang mga dako, ang araw, ang buwan, at ang lakas-buhay ng isip; ang Iyong mukha ay ang banal na apoy sa dambana, at ang Iyong pusod ay ang kalawakan sa gitna. Recite a Śiva-stuti with bhakti, meditate on Śiva as the indwelling presence in all worlds, and pair it with Panchākṣarī japa ("Om Namaḥ Śivāya")—optionally with bhasma (tripuṇḍra) and Rudrākṣa as Shaiva aids.
