बस्तश्मश्रुर्भवेदेव भृगुर्मम विरोध कृत् । देवाः प्रकृतिसर्वांगा ये म उच्छेदनं ददुः
bastaśmaśrurbhavedeva bhṛgurmama virodha kṛt | devāḥ prakṛtisarvāṃgā ye ma ucchedanaṃ daduḥ
“Nawa’y si Bhṛgu—na kumilos nang laban sa akin—ay maging may balbas at bigote na tulad ng sa kambing. At nawa’y ang mga diyos na ang mga sangkap ng katawan ay nakagapos sa Prakṛti, na nagkaloob sa akin ng ‘pagputol’ (pagtaboy at pagpapahiya), ay dumanas ng kapahamakan.”
