दधीच-शाप-हेतु-वर्णनम् / The Cause of Dadhīca’s Curse
Explaining Viṣṇu’s Role at Dakṣa’s Sacrifice
चिरात्तपःप्रसंगाद्वै वादः क्षुवदधीचयोः । महानर्थकरः ख्यातस्त्रिलोकेष्वभवत्पुरा
cirāttapaḥprasaṃgādvai vādaḥ kṣuvadadhīcayoḥ | mahānarthakaraḥ khyātastrilokeṣvabhavatpurā
Noong unang panahon, dahil sa matagal na pagkakababad sa tapas (pag-aayuno at pagninilay), sumiklab ang pagtatalo nina Kṣuva at ng pantas na si Dadhīca. Ang alitang iyon ay sumikat sa tatlong daigdig bilang sanhi ng malaking kapinsalaan.
