Satī’s Address to Śiva

purībhiśśobhiśikharaṃ meroruccaissurālayam | raṃbhāśacīmenakādiraṃbhorugaṇasevitam

Translation

Sa mataas na Bundok Meru nakatindig ang maningning na lungsod ng mga deva, at ang tuktok nito’y maringal sa maraming palasyong kumikislap. Ito’y sinasamahan ng mga dalagang makalangit—Rambhā, Śacī, Menakā at iba pa—at pinaglilingkuran ng mga pangkat ng apsara na kaakit-akit ang ganda.
