Acyuta (Lord Vishnu)
Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Mahādeva
It teaches that sacred vows succeed only when aligned with the Supreme and purified of ego; the real obstacle is inner pride and wrong intention, not external circumstances.
In the Sati narrative, Daksha’s ritualism becomes empty without reverence to Shiva; true worship of Saguna Shiva (including Linga worship) requires humility and right inner attitude, not mere ceremonial pride.
Self-inquiry before ritual—perform japa with a surrendered mind (e.g., Panchakshara ‘Om Namaḥ Śivāya’) and cultivate inner purification so vows and worship are not driven by ego.
