Viṣṇu’s Manifestation and Brahmā’s Hymn
कृत्वावतारं सगुणा यदि स्यान्मानुषी शिवा । कस्यचित्तनया लोके सा तत्पत्नी भवेद्ध्रुवम्
kṛtvāvatāraṃ saguṇā yadi syānmānuṣī śivā | kasyacittanayā loke sā tatpatnī bhaveddhruvam
Kung si Śivā, sa pagkuha ng isang pagkakatawang may mga katangian (saguṇa), ay maging tao, sa mundong ito tiyak na Siya’y isisilang bilang anak na babae ng isang tao at walang alinlangang magiging asawa ng taong iyon.

It supports the idea that the attributive (saguṇa) dimension of the Supreme becomes accessible through name, form, and sacred relationship—just as Saguna Shiva is worshipped through the Liṅga as a compassionate, approachable presence leading devotees toward the Nirguna reality.
A practical takeaway is to worship Shiva in saguṇa form with steady bhakti—daily japa of the Pañcākṣarī mantra “Om Namaḥ Śivāya,” along with simple Liṅga-abhiṣeka (water) and reverence to Shiva–Shakti unity.
