Nārada and Himālaya: Discourse on Pārvatī’s Signs and Destiny
Suta Goswami (narrating the glory of Shiva–Parvati’s mutual love to the sages of Naimisharanya)
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Umāpati
It declares the Shiva–Parvati bond as an unmatched ideal of divine love (prema), pointing to bhakti rooted in purity and grace—where the soul learns steadfast devotion to Pati (Shiva) through the living example of Śakti’s unwavering dedication.
By praising their incomparable love, the verse supports Saguna worship—approaching Shiva with personal devotion and relational intimacy. Linga-puja becomes a concrete way to honor the same Lord whose compassionate union with Śakti sustains dharma and grants liberation.
Practice steady bhakti through daily japa of the Panchakshara mantra (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) and simple Linga worship with reverence; cultivate constancy in devotion, mirroring the unwavering prema praised in the verse.
