हिमालयोऽपि सम्प्राप्तं सदेवगणमीश्वरम् । प्रणम्य विधिवद्भक्त्या नीराजनमथाकरोत्
himālayo'pi samprāptaṃ sadevagaṇamīśvaram | praṇamya vidhivadbhaktyā nīrājanamathākarot
Lumapit din si Himālaya sa Panginoon na dumating kasama ang mga pangkat ng mga diyos; at yumukod siya ayon sa wastong paraan. Pagkaraan, sa debosyon at paggalang ayon sa ritwal, isinagawa niya ang nīrājana (ārati) para kay Īśvara.

The verse emphasizes saguna-upāsanā—worship of the Lord as personally present and approachable. Nīrājana (ārati) is a classic upacāra of pūjā offered to Śiva (including in Liṅga worship), expressing loving service while recognizing Him as Īśvara beyond the devas.
