ईश्वरागमनं हिमवदादि-समागमश्च / The Arrival of Īśvara and the Assembly of Himālaya, Devas, and Mountains
कृत्वा सुवेषं सर्वेपि निर्जरा मुनयो गणाः । गमनं चक्रुरन्येपि प्रभुणा गिरिराड्गृहम्
kṛtvā suveṣaṃ sarvepi nirjarā munayo gaṇāḥ | gamanaṃ cakruranyepi prabhuṇā girirāḍgṛham
Matapos magbihis ng maringal na kasuotan, ang lahat ng walang-kamatayan—mga rishi at mga gaṇa, mga tagasunod ni Śiva—ay naglakbay. Ang iba pa rin, kasama ang Panginoon, ay tumungo sa palasyong-tahanan ng Hari ng mga Bundok (Himālaya).

The verse emphasizes Saguna Śiva’s accessible, compassionate presence—He moves among devotees and celestial attendants. Remembering such līlās supports personal devotion that culminates in steadiness for Linga-worship and contemplation of Śiva as Pati (the Lord).
Adopt ‘śauca’ and ‘maṅgala-ācāra’ before worship: bathe, apply Tripuṇḍra (bhasma) if practiced, wear clean clothes, and begin with japa of the Pañcākṣarī mantra “Om Namaḥ Śivāya” before undertaking temple visits or vrata observances such as Mahāśivarātri.
