शिवशिवयोर्जगत्पितृमातृत्व-प्रतिपादनं तथा मेनायाः विमोहः (Śiva–Śivā as Cosmic Father and Mother; Menā’s Delusion and the Sages’ Intervention)

It highlights viveka (discernment) in dharmic decision-making—speech and counsel should be chosen consciously, aligning intention with righteousness, a foundation for inner purity that supports devotion to Shiva.
Even in Saguna Shiva-bhakti, conduct and truthful, well-considered speech are offerings of the mind (manasa-puja). Ethical clarity steadies the devotee’s resolve, making worship more sincere and spiritually fruitful.
A practical takeaway is to precede japa (such as the Panchakshara, "Om Namah Shivaya") with a brief self-inquiry: choose words and actions that are dharmic, beneficial, and truthful—this purifies the mind for meditation.
