Pārvatī’s Return to Her Father’s House and the Auspicious Welcome

Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Type: stotra
Shakti Form: Pārvatī
Role: liberating
Offering: pushpa
Cosmic Event: deva-puṣpavṛṣṭi (celestial flower-shower as divine approval/saṅkalpa-siddhi sign)
The flower-shower and hymns symbolize divine recognition that Devi’s presence and actions are auspicious for dharma; in Shaiva Siddhanta, honoring Parvati is honoring Shiva’s inseparable Shakti, through whom grace and upliftment flow.
The Devas’ bowing and stuti model saguna-upasana—devotional worship through reverence, praise, and auspicious offerings—mirroring how devotees honor Shiva (often as the Linga) and Shakti together as one reality.
Offer flowers (or mentally offer them) with namaskara and stotra-recitation; a simple practice is to chant “Om Namaḥ Śivāya” and conclude with a brief Devi/Shiva stuti, cultivating humility and devotion.
