नारद उवाच । ब्रह्मन् विधे महाभाग किं जातं तदनन्तरम् । तत्सर्वं श्रोतुमिच्छामि कथय त्वं शिवायशः
nārada uvāca | brahman vidhe mahābhāga kiṃ jātaṃ tadanantaram | tatsarvaṃ śrotumicchāmi kathaya tvaṃ śivāyaśaḥ
Sinabi ni Nārada: “O Brahman, O Vidhā na Manlilikha, O lubhang mapalad—ano ang naganap pagkatapos niyon? Nais kong marinig ang lahat. Isalaysay mo sa akin, O Śivāyaśas, sapagkat ito’y tungkol sa kaluwalhatian ni Panginoong Śiva.”
