Role: teaching
It teaches that Śiva’s anugraha (grace) arises from steady daily japa performed with both devotion (bhakti) and right discipline (vidhi), aligning the devotee toward purification and liberation under Pati (Śiva).
The verse emphasizes Saguna upāsanā—approaching Śaṅkara as the gracious Lord who responds to worship—where mantra-japa, done correctly and lovingly, is a core limb of Linga-centered pūjā and devotional practice.
Daily mantra-japa, reciting each syllable clearly and attentively, following the prescribed procedure and sustaining heartfelt devotion to Śiva.
