ब्रह्मोवाच । इत्याकर्ण्य वच स्तस्य तत्स्ववृत्तं जगाद ह । ततश्चोवाच सुप्रीत्या गाधिजं तं महोतिकृत्
brahmovāca | ityākarṇya vaca stasya tatsvavṛttaṃ jagāda ha | tataścovāca suprītyā gādhijaṃ taṃ mahotikṛt
Sinabi ni Brahmā: Nang marinig niya ang mga salita nito, isinalaysay niya ang sarili niyang kasaysayan. Pagkaraan, sa dakilang galak, nagsalita ang marangal na iyon kay Viśvāmitra, anak ni Gādhi, na nagsagawa ng matinding pag-aayuno at pagninilay.
