शिवपुत्रजननवर्णनम् — Description of the Birth/Manifestation of Śiva’s Son
ब्रह्मोवाच । शंभुवाक्यं निशम्येति प्रत्युवाच शनैः शुचिः । सांजलिर्नतकः प्रीत्या शंकरं भक्तशंकरम्
brahmovāca | śaṃbhuvākyaṃ niśamyeti pratyuvāca śanaiḥ śuciḥ | sāṃjalirnatakaḥ prītyā śaṃkaraṃ bhaktaśaṃkaram
Sinabi ni Brahmā: Nang marinig ang mga salita ni Śambhu, ang dalisay ay marahang sumagot. Nakapagdaupang-palad sa paggalang at nakayukod nang may pag-ibig, kinausap niya si Śaṅkara—si Śiva na laging mapagpala sa mga deboto.

The verse emphasizes Saguna Śiva as “Bhakta-śaṅkara,” the compassionate Lord who responds to devotion; this same approachable divinity is worshipped through the Śiva-liṅga with reverence, namaskāra, and prayer.
A simple practice is indicated: stand or sit in purity, join the palms (añjali), bow (namaskāra), and address Śiva with gentle speech—optionally while repeating the Pañcākṣarī mantra “Om Namaḥ Śivāya.”
