उपो षु जातमप्तुरं गोभिर्भङ्गं परिष्कृतम् । इन्दुं देवा अयासिषुः ॥
upó ṣu jātám aptúraṃ góbhir bhaṅgáṃ páriṣkṛtam | índuṃ devā́ ayāsiṣuḥ ||
Close indeed to the birth, the swift-working (Soma), purified and fashioned by the rays of Light, the gods have brought forward the shining drop for our journey of the sacrifice.
