महत्या कुथयास्तीर्णां पृथिवीलक्षणाङ्कया।पृथिवीमिव विस्तीर्णां सराष्ट्रगृहमालिनीम्।।5.9.26।।
mahatyā kuthayāstīrṇāṃ pṛthivīlakṣaṇāṅkayā |
pṛthivīm iva vistīrṇāṃ sarāṣṭragṛhamālinīm ||5.9.26||
Nakalatag doon ang isang napakalawak na alpombra, may mga guhit na wari’y mga tanda ng daigdig; gaya ng mismong lupa na lumalawak, na tila may kuwintas na hanay ng mga kaharian, bayan, at mga tahanan.
The floor was covered with a wide carpet spread from wall to wall with designs of different murals of many places and houses drawn in a row (garland like). The big carpet appeared like the expanse of earth itself.
Power that ‘contains the world’ in display is still subject to Dharma: dominion and wealth are secondary to righteous rule and truthful conduct.
