सुन्दरकाण्डे अष्टपञ्चाशः सर्गः
हनुमद्वृत्तान्तकथनम्, सीताभिज्ञान-प्रदानम्, लङ्कादाह-वर्णनम्
तां दृष्ट्वा तादृशीं नारीं रामपत्नीं यशस्विनीम्।तत्रैव शिंशुपावृक्षे पश्यन्नहमवस्थितः।।।।
tāṃ dṛṣṭvā tādṛśīṃ nārīṃ rāmapatnīṃ yaśasvinīm |
tatraiva śiṃśupāvṛkṣe paśyann aham avasthitaḥ ||
Nang makita ko ang gayong kalagayan ng marangal at bantog na babae—ang asawa ni Rāma—nanatili ako roon mismo, nagmamasid mula sa punong śiṃśupā.
