प्लवमानं तु तं दृष्ट्वा सिंहिका नाम राक्षसी।मनसा चिन्तयामास प्रवृद्धा कामरूपिणी।।।।
plavamānaṃ tu taṃ dṛṣṭvā siṃhikā nāma rākṣasī |
manasā cintayāmāsa pravṛddhā kāmarūpiṇī ||
Nang makita siyang mabilis na lumilipad sa langit, ang rākṣasī na nagngangalang Siṃhikā—na nakapag-aanyo ayon sa nais—ay lumaki at nagbalak sa kanyang isipan.
