तमापतन्तं सहसा वालिपुत्रोऽङ्गदस्तदा।रावणोऽयमिति ज्ञात्वा तलेनाभिजघान ह।।।।
tam āpatantaṃ sahasā vāliputro 'ṅgadas tadā |
rāvaṇo 'yam iti jñātvā talenābhijaghāna ha ||
Noon, si Aṅgada, anak ni Vāli, ay biglang humarap sa sumasalakay; sa pag-aakalang, “Ito si Rāvaṇa,” hinampas niya ito ng palad.
Mistaking him for Ravana, Angada, Vali's son at once pounced on him and slapped him with his palm.
Dharma as protection: Aṅgada acts swiftly to defend his group from an attacker, showing responsibility toward companions on a righteous mission.
As the demon charges, Aṅgada intercepts and strikes, momentarily mistaking the foe for Rāvaṇa.
