The Monsoon Description and Rama’s Counsel on Timing
मासि प्रोष्ठपदे ब्रह्म ब्राह्मणानां विवक्षताम्।अयमध्यायसमयस्सामगानामुपस्थितः।।
māsi proṣṭhapade brahma brāhmaṇānāṃ vivakṣatām | ayam adhyāya-samayaḥ sāmagānām upasthitaḥ ||
Sa buwan ng Proṣṭhapada, O kagalang-galang, dumarating ang panahon para sa mga brāhmaṇa na nagnanais bumigkas ng Veda; at para sa mga umaawit ng Sāma, narito na ang takdang oras ng pag-aaral.
