गिरिशृङ्गमिदं रम्यमुन्नतं पार्थिवात्मज4.27.7।।श्वेताभिः कृष्णताम्राभिश्शिलाभिरुपशोभितम्।नानाधातुसमाकीर्णं दरीनिर्झरशोभितम्4.27.8।।विविधैर्वृक्षषण्डैश्च चारुचित्रलतायुतम्।नानाविहगसङ्घुष्टं मयूररवनादितम्4.27.9।।मालतीकुन्दगुल्मैश्च सिन्धुवारैश्शिरीषकैः।कदम्बार्जुनसर्जैश्च पुष्पितैरुपशोभितम्4.27.10।।
giriśṛṅgam idaṃ ramyam unnataṃ pārthivātmaja (4.27.7) | śvetābhiḥ kṛṣṇa-tāmrābhiḥ śilābhir upaśobhitam | nānā-dhātu-samākīrṇaṃ darī-nirjhara-śobhitam (4.27.8) || vividhair vṛkṣa-ṣaṇḍaiś ca cāru-citra-latā-yutam | nānā-vihaga-saṅghuṣṭaṃ mayūra-ravanāditam (4.27.9) || mālatī-kunda-gulmaiś ca sindhuvāraiḥ śirīṣakaiḥ | kadambārjuna-sarjaiś ca puṣpitair upaśobhitam (4.27.10) ||
O prinsipe, ang kaaya-ayang tuktok na ito ng bundok ay mataas, pinalalamutian ng mga batong puti, itim, at tansong-pula. Kalat dito ang sari-saring mineral at pinapaganda ng mga yungib at talon. Pinagpapala ito ng iba’t ibang kakahuyan at magagandang, makukulay na baging; umaalingawngaw sa huni ng maraming ibon at sa sigaw ng mga pabo-real. Higit pa itong ginagayakan ng namumulaklak na mga palumpong ng mālatī at kunda, mga halamang sindhuvāra, mga punong śirīṣa, at ng mga punong kadamba, arjuna, at sarja na hitik sa bulaklak.
'O prince this lovely mountain peak is lofty. It has white, black and red stones with many kinds of minerals scattered all over. It is delightful with caves and streams, and various clusters of trees and variegated vines. The chirps of several kinds of birds as well as the sounds of excellent peacocks are heard here. This place is delightful with bushes of jasmine, kunda and sindhuvara, sireeshaka, kadamba, arjuna and sarja in bloom.
