तीर-वर्णनम् / Rama’s Lament at Pampa and the Approach to Rishyamuka
एष पुष्पवहो वायुस्सुखस्पर्शो हिमावहः।तां विचिन्तयतः कान्तां पावकप्रतिमो मम।।।।
eṣa puṣpavaho vāyuḥ sukhasparśo himāvahaḥ | tāṃ vicintayataḥ kāntāṃ pāvakapratimo mama ||
Ang hanging ito na nagdadala ng mga bulaklak, banayad sa haplos at malamig sa pagdating—ngunit sa akin, habang iniisip ko ang minamahal, ay tila apoy.
'This cool breeze that carries the fragrance of flowers, that is gentle in its touch feels like fire when I think about my beautiful beloved.
Truthful acknowledgment of inner suffering: Rama does not mask grief; he speaks honestly, showing that Satya includes sincerity about one’s mental state while remaining committed to dharmic action.
Rama, separated from Sita, experiences spring’s pleasant breeze as painful because memory intensifies longing.
Emotional integrity and single-minded devotion—his mind remains anchored in Sita, not diverted by outward pleasures.
