शतानन्दोपदेशः
Śatānanda’s Welcome to Rāma and the Prelude to Viśvāmitra’s History
नास्ति धन्यतरो राम त्वत्तोऽन्यो भुवि कश्चन।गोप्ता कुशिकपुत्रस्ते येन तप्तं महत्तप:।।।।
nāsti dhanyataro rāma tvatto ’nyo bhuvi kaścana | goptā kuśika-putras te yena taptaṁ mahat tapaḥ ||
“O Rāma, wala nang higit pang mapalad kaysa sa iyo sa daigdig: ang anak ni Kuśika ang iyong tagapagtanggol—yaong nagsagawa ng dakilang tapas.”
Rama! Son of Kushika (Viswamitra) who has performed great austerities is your protector. Therefore, there is none on this earth more fortunate than you.
