Narada’s Summary to Valmiki
न चाग्निजं भयं किञ्चिन्नाप्सु मज्जन्ति जन्तव: ।न वातजं भयं किञ्चिन्नापि ज्वरकृतं तथा ।।।।न चापि क्षुद्भयं तत्र न तस्करभयं तथा ।
na cāgnijaṃ bhayaṃ kiñcin nāpsu majjanti jantavaḥ |
na vātajaṃ bhayaṃ kiñcin nāpi jvarakṛtaṃ tathā ||
na cāpi kṣudbhayaṃ tatra na taskarabhayaṃ tathā ||
Sa kahariang iyon, walang anumang takot na mula sa apoy; at ang mga nilalang ay hindi malulunod sa tubig. Wala ring takot sa marahas na hangin, ni sa lagnat; gayundin, walang pangamba sa gutom, at wala ring pangamba sa mga magnanakaw.
There (in the kingdom of Rama) was no fear of fire, water, wind, disease, hunger and also theft.
Dharma is envisioned as comprehensive protection—social and natural—where righteous governance removes pervasive fears and ensures basic safety.
Nārada continues the depiction of ideal conditions under Rāma-rājya by listing the absence of common calamities and crimes.
