भरतस्य कैकेयी-गर्हा तथा सुरभि-दृष्टान्तः
Bharata’s Reproach of Kaikeyi and the Surabhi Exemplum
अनाययित्वा तनयं कौसल्याया महाबलम्।स्वयमेव प्रवेक्ष्यामि वनं मुनिनिषेवितम्।।।।
anāyayitvā tanayaṃ kausalyāyā mahābalam |
svayam eva pravekṣyāmi vanaṃ muni-niṣevitam ||
Kung hindi ko maibalik ang makapangyarihang anak ni Kausalya, ako mismo ay papasok sa kagubatan—na pinagmumultuhan at tinatahanan ng mga asetiko.
O vicious one!, O evil-intentioned one! being watched by the citizens with their throats choked with tears of grief, I cannot endure the burden of the sin committed by you.
