Transliteration

tāv ardhadivase śrāntau dṛṣṭvā putrau mahītale | ruroda putraśokena bāṣpaparyākulekṣaṇā ||

Translation

Nang makita niya sa lupa ang kanyang dalawang anak, pagod sa katanghaliang-tapat, siya’y umiyak sa dalamhati para sa mga anak; ang kanyang mga mata’y nababalot ng luha.
