Transliteration

atyaṅkuśam ivoddāmaṃ gajaṃ mad-baloddhatam |

pradhāvitaṃ ahaṃ daivaṃ pauruṣeṇa nivartaye ||

Translation

Pipigilin ko ang tadhana sa aking kagitingan—gaya ng pagpigil sa isang mailap na elepanteng hindi mapasunod kahit sa pang-udyok, na sumasalakay sa pagkalasing ng sariling lakas.
