अत्र्याश्रमगमनम् तथा अनसूयोपदेशः
Arrival at Atri’s Hermitage and Anasuya’s Counsel
अभिवाद्य च वैदेही तापसीं तामनिन्दिताम्।बद्धाञ्जलिपुटा हृष्टा पर्यपृच्छदनामयम्।।।।
abhivādya ca vaidehī tāpasīṃ tām aninditām |
baddhāñjali-puṭā hṛṣṭā paryapṛcchad anāmayam ||
At matapos magbigay-galang sa walang kapintasang asceta, si Vaidehī—magkapatong ang mga palad sa paggalang at may kagalakan—ay nagtanong tungkol sa kanyang kalagayan.
It is here that Bharata, mothers along with citizens of Ayodhya have visited me. That memory soaked with grief is chasing me.
Dharma in social conduct includes respectful greeting and concern for another’s welfare; courtesy is treated as a moral practice grounded in sincerity (satya) and compassion.
Sītā completes the formal approach to Anasūyā by saluting her and asking after her health.
