भरतस्य प्रार्थना—रामस्य कालधर्मोपदेशः
Bharata’s Petition and Rama’s Instruction on Time and Mortality
तस्य साध्वित्यमन्यन्त नागरा विविधा जनाः।भरतस्य वच श्श्रुत्वा रामं प्रत्यनुयाचतः।।2.105.13।।
tasya sādhv ity amanyanta nāgarā vividhā janāḥ |
bharatasya vacaḥ śrutvā rāmaṃ prati anuyācataḥ ||
Nang marinig ng mga taga-lungsod—mga taong mula sa iba’t ibang pangkat—ang mga salita ni Bharata habang taimtim niyang pinakikiusapan si Rama, inakala nilang, “Tunay na mabuti ang pagkakasabi.”
Hearing the words of Bharata beseeching Rama to return, various classes of people of the city of Ayodhya, in approbation exclaimed well said.
Dharma gains social affirmation when aligned with truth and the common good; the people recognize Bharata’s plea as righteous.
As Bharata argues for Rāma’s return, the assembled citizens respond with approval.
Bharata’s credibility and sincerity—his words persuade not by force but by moral weight.
