अगस्त्याश्रमप्रवेशः तथा दिव्यायुधप्रदानम्
Entry into Agastya’s Hermitage and the Gift of Divine Weapons
स प्रविश्य मुनिश्रेष्ठं तपसा दुष्प्रधर्षणम्।कृताञ्जलिरुवाचेदं रामागमनमञ्जसा।।।।यथोक्तं लक्ष्मणेनैव शिष्योऽगस्त्यस्य सम्मतः।
sa praviśya muniśreṣṭhaṃ tapasā duṣpradharṣaṇam | kṛtāñjalir uvācedaṃ rāmāgamanam añjasā || yathoktaṃ lakṣmaṇenaiva śiṣyo ’gastyasya sammataḥ |
Agad siyang pumasok at, sa harap ng pinakadakilang muni na hindi matitinag sa lakas ng tapas, ang minamahal na alagad ni Agastya ay nagbigay-galang na nakatiklop ang mga palad at iniulat, ayon mismo sa sinabi ni Lakṣmaṇa, ang pagdating ni Rāma.
Having promptly entered, Agastya's favourite disciple with folded hands reported as he was told by Lakshmana about Rama's arrival to the great sage who was armed with the inviolable powers of penance :
Truthful reporting (satya) and respectful conduct toward elders and sages are shown as essential duties.
The disciple enters Agastya’s presence and formally announces that Rāma has arrived, repeating Lakṣmaṇa’s message accurately.
Reverence and precision: the disciple speaks with humility (folded palms) and transmits the message without distortion.
