Student Conduct, Vedic Study, and Gāyatrī Supremacy

नाष्टकाद्यास्वधीयीत मारुते चाभिधावति । अनध्यायस्तु नांगेषु नेतिहासपुराणयोः

nāṣṭakādyāsvadhīyīta mārute cābhidhāvati | anadhyāyastu nāṃgeṣu netihāsapurāṇayoḥ

Hindi dapat mag-aral sa Aṣṭakā at mga katulad na pagdiriwang, ni kapag humahagibis ang malakas na hangin. Ngunit ang anadhyāya ay hindi sumasaklaw sa mga aṅga (pantulong na disiplina), ni sa mga Itihāsa at Purāṇa.
